Welcome to the Termite Mound, an exclusive-use bush villa and your home away from home in Khwai, Botswana. This little gem is a self-catering guesthouse that can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms. With views over the Khwai river into Moremi Game Reserve, you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. An ideal option for self-drive guests who need a break from camping or just prefer to glamp rather than camp.

The Termite Mound accommodates up to 6 guests with 2 double en-suite rooms upstairs, both with wooden decks looking over to the Khwai River and Moremi and a downstairs en-suite room with 2 single beds.

The kitchen includes a gas cooker, an upright fridge / freezer and is fully equipped with what you'd need. The guesthouse is serviced daily by a great team who'll ensure your comfort and relaxation is not compromised ...including a fire lit and ready on your return from your sundowner game drive.

You will need to bring ice, your food, drinks and your clothing. The water in the taps comes from a well point and although we feel it is safe to drink, we would recommend that guests bring bottled water for drinking. There are small shops around Khwai village and you will be able to get some basic supplies. Fire wood is also available in the village or from our staff. Don't forget your binoculars and camera, and pack some mozzie spray and sunscreen.
